DESCRIPTION: Switzerland, a late 18th century Neuchateloise bracket clock, the red, hardwood case and bracket with painted floral ornament, the bracket with polychrome musical trophy, and with foliate, repousse mounts, and top with cast bronze urn finial, faux thirteen piece enamel dial, eight day movement with rectangular plates, rear mounted strike work, crown wheel escapement, silk thread suspension, and Dutch striking on two bells, the back plate marked "FRFC 689 "
CONDITION: case with minor repairs, repainted, surface with crazing, rear right foot repaired, dial replaced, hands good, movement ticks and strikes, but the striking is set up incorrectly and so the full hour is not reported, pendulum replaced
